ASUS EAH3850 Trinity, 3 GPUs in 1 graphic card

I’ve been out of the PC parts market for so long. I didn’t know that they came out with a dual GPU graphics card and now there’s already a 3 GPU card. The only thing about it is that it’s an ATI card and I’m an Nvidia enthusiast all the way. I just wonder when Nvidia or their card makers will come out with one of their own, or do one up on this and go with 4 GPUs. What you can also do with these bad boys is run them in Crossfire mode, same as SLI for Nvidia. I’m not sure if there are any games out there that can even utilize these cards to their full potential, not even Crysis! I think.

Using the newest card like the Nvidia 9800 with a single GPU core already runs pretty hot. That’s why these bad boys comes with it’s own water cooling hardware. Talk about being hardcore. I wonder what kind of PSU you would need to power this with the rest of your hardware. 1200W?

The single card also comes with 4 DVI outputs. You can hook this up to 4 monitors or 1 big one with really high resolution. Line up your monitors in a 2x2 grid and you’ll be good!

I’m sure it’ll be quite some time before I would get anything remotely as powerful as this. I’m stuck with my measly Nvidia 6600GT for now.

I wish I have a working camera, especially a DSLR. There are many things I want to take pictures of and post it. A DSLR is kinda too bulky, I might look into some good Point and Shoots.
